Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. All plowing and salting will include all parking lots, road ways, and approaches. B. All plowing and salting is to be completed by time specified by building / location below on School Days. Contractor will be informed of any extra plowing in case of school events or extreme weather conditions. Calendar will be provided. C. On non-school days and vacation days, a snow accumulation of 2 inches or more shall be plowed to prevent a large accumulation. This calendar information will be provided by the Facilities Director. D. The Contractor will have vehicles available for “on call” services, twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week with a designated person on call for the School District to call when additional service may be required. Response time to any facility is required within ninety (90) minutes. E. The Contractor shall provide the Owner with a means of immediate communication regarding site completion, emergencies or any other occasion that may arise. A cellular phone number of two people responsible for managing this contract must be provided upon award of Contract. F. Snow shall be pushed away from areas far enough at the beginning to leave room for more accumulation as the season progresses. No accumulation of snow shall be pushed onto sidewalks, entries, or in front of doors that will block these accesses. G. Normal snow removal using regular equipment shall consist of the removal of up to 6 inches of heavy snow. Removal of snow requiring the use of special or extra equipment to push back banks or remove extra heavy accumulations shall be billed on an hourly rate to include equipment and operator. Such additional snow removal or push back should occur only with the consent of the Facilities Director. H. The contractor shall be responsible for all repairs of damage to school district property caused by his/her equipment, personnel, or materials used.
