Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Strip existing roofing shingles & ridge, building felt and ice & water shield down to existing roof deck, provide ice & water shield up 4' eave inside of wall, ridge vent and repair/re-set or replace damaged pre-finished metal fascia (south elevation) indicated. Existing prefinished metal drip edge and fascia to remain. B. Remove & replace discovered damaged / deteriorated plywood roof sheathing and/or treated fascia boards (match existing profile). Remove & replace existing metal drip edge & fascia to facilitate deteriorated fascia board replacement. Contractor to include $1,000.00 allowance for this item. C. Remove and replace all existing roof flashing and roof vent & cap flashing, if required, per SMACNA’s Architectural Sheet Metal recommendations applying to shingle roof design. D. Roof penetrations are not indicated, contractor is to inventory any/all penetrations requiring work prior to submitting bid proposal
