The RFP will be for the complete removal of the existing roofing system and replacement with TPO roofing systems at Cardinal Station and a portion of Central Elementary. Proposal includes the following items: ● Item 1: Removal and Disposal ○ Provide the removal and disposal of the existing roofing membrane, insulation, gutters, and flashings. ● Item 2: New Roofing System ○ Provide and install a fully-adhered, 60-mil TPO (white) roof membrane system attached with Low Odor or No Odor Products and pitched to ensure proper drainage. ● Item 3: Recovery Cover Board ○ Provide and install one layer of 1/2-inch HD POLY recovery cover board. ● Item 4: Flashing and Penetrations ○ Provide and install all manufacturer-required details, flashings, and penetration flashings to ensure a complete and watertight roof system. ○ Flash all vent stacks, chimneys, and wall connections as needed. ● Item 5: HVAC Equipment ○ Remove and reinstall HVAC equipment as needed. ● Item 6: Sheet Metal Work ○ Provide and install 24-gauge, shop-fabricated gravel stop fascia and drip edge. ○ Provide and install like color and quality gutters and fascia. ● Item 7: Counter Flashing ○ Provide and install 24-gauge, shop-fabricated counter flashing and aluminum termination bars as needed for the new wall flashing. ● Item 8: Warranty and Cleanup ○ Provide a minimum of 1-year workmanship warranty. ○ Provide a minimum of 20-year warranty of roofing system. ○ Installers will actively supervise the work area daily, keeping it clean of debris. ○ Protective tarps will be used as a barrier between the building walls and dumpsters to prevent damage. ○ Upon completion, all construction debris will be removed and any damages repaired. ○ Complete final clean up with wheel magnet. ○ Full landscaping protection. ○ Provide dumpster(s). ○ Provide own electricity.
