Contractor shall obtain, pay for, and post on-site all permits on behalf of owner that are necessary to complete this project as required by the State, County and local government. --- Copy of approved permit must be provided to Kent County upon project completion.; HEPA vacuum, wash, HEPA vacuum floor and window components, per LIRA, to achieve lead clearance; The surface to be enclosed must be labeled in permanent ink with a warning, “Danger: Lead-Based Paint" with spray-paint or stamp lettering. Document with photo before enclosing. Install new 7mm, 48" x 9" thick vinyl plank flooring on top of 1/2-inch or thicker plywood or other underlayment. Install transition trim pieces at door thresholds. Homeowner to choose color. Install new shoe molding where new floor and baseboard meet. Paint shoe molding.; Prep surface and apply ASTM approved lead-based paint encapsulant to stair components including treads, risers, stringer, and trim. Product to have at least a 10-year manufacturer warranty. Where necessary, make minor repairs and caulk prior to applying encapsulant. Contractor to follow manufacturer's instructions for surface preparation, application, thickness and clean-up.
