ASSESSMENT OF EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR OF THE TOWER: Complete a thorough assessment of the clock tower Carpenter assessment with a roofer and an engineer A pre-project meeting after assessment with Facility manager, City manager and City Hall Director EXTERIOR: The exterior of the clock tower needs to be stripped of the white exterior paint Remove missing or rotted wood and replace with new lumber outside the clock tower Repair missing or rotted wood trim with new lumber Repair smaller areas with epoxy wood material Metal flashing needs to be replaced around the edge of the clock tower Remove any loose sealant, prep, and re-caulk with paintable sealant Apply new waterproof exterior sealant and paint to match the existing colors Prep wood and metal substrates for new exterior paint Apply SW exterior wood primer at the clock tower base
