Specifications include, but are not limited to: ➢Security•Turn on lights and unlock schoolentrance doors daily approximately1hourbeforeschool day begins.•Complete perimeter walk daily at beginning of shift to ensure safety in all areas.•Complete perimeter walk nightly end of shift to ensure all areas remain secure•Keep sidewalks clean of ice and snow.•Keep the Superintendent or designee informed of necessary repairs that require contracting.•Keep the Superintendent/District apprised of summer maintenance/cleaning schedule.➢Work Week•The majority of the custodial/maintenanceservice responsibilities will normally be performed between the hours of7:00a.m. and 11:00 pmfor five consecutive dayson Monday through Friday.•Any items assigned by the district must be completed within allowed time frame.➢Normal School Year •General oWork Schedules –The custodial employees will be scheduled to accommodate the use of the school facilities by school and outside organizations.oContractor must start thecleaning/maintenanceschedule at 6:30a.m. each day.oRegular work week will be Mondaythrough Friday.•Other Custodial DutiesoTrash Removal –Daily, five days per week. Remove trash from designated area and take to dumpsters.oDaily and annual cleaning of building, furniture, and equipment.oUpkeep of grounds, buildings and equipmentoWall surfaces are to be spot cleaned as needed throughout the building.oAll interior walls, locker fronts, doors etc. shall be kept clean of dirt, marks and writing.oCleaning Press Boxes (located on main school grounds and school track)
