The selected consultant will support the Authority in carrying out tasks identified in the grant work plan, including but not limited to: • Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs): Conduct approximately 8 Phase I ESAs on priority sites in target communities (City of Dowagiac and Village of Cassopolis) and 5 Phase I ESAs on non-priority sites countywide chosen by the Authority, with community input. • Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and Due Care Plans: Conduct approximately 6 Phase II ESAs on priority sites and 3 Phase II ESAs on non-priority sites countywide chosen by the Authority, with community input. • Brownfield and Cleanup Planning: Prepare an estimated 6 Brownfield Plans for tax increment financing and 2 Act 381 Work Plans (Cleanup Plans) for state support. • Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP): Develop and maintain a QAPP consistent with EPA requirements • Community Engagement Support: Assist the Authority with public outreach events, open houses, informational materials, and participation in monthly Authority meetings.
