Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful Contractor will be required to review content of current coursework plans and summarize findings. The Contractor is to include in the review State Standards (Common Core) with course alignment, learner outcomes, Backward Design Approach, literacy development, research-based instructional strategies, student centered approach, assessment (formative and summative), resources and technology. Prepare a brief narrative report of findings and submit to the PA five school days prior to the first meeting to discuss the training plan. The successful Contractor will develop a written training plan/agenda that describes the three phase PD workshop that follows a Backward Design Approach. It must include expected ELA instructional outcomes, content, activities and resources that describe the overall training, each phase and sessions. Include hand-outs/materials and expected knowledge/skills participants will need. The Contractor will be required to submit the training plan and meet with the PA and Principal 30 days prior to the planned event.
