The initially anticipated location is the Casino Building, 1 Casino Way, Belle Isle Park, Detroit, Michigan, 48207. 1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS A. The Contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and / or services necessary to perform the Contract Activities as described in Section 1.1 Specifications, and the Location Specification Sheet (Schedule B1). The required objective is to maintain the facilities in such a manner that the location provides a clean, healthy and safe environment for occupants and visitors of State-owned or leased facilities. B. The State reserves the right to modify the services required under this RFP and / or any resulting contract to meet the State of Michigan’s future needs. C. Refer to Location Specification Sheet (Schedule B1) for hours of basic janitorial cleaning. D. Refer to Location Specification Sheet (Schedule B1) for days and hours of periodic services. E. The State of Michigan will not pay for unperformed services. F. The Contractor will not be paid for services performed on State Holidays unless pre-approved in writing (email acceptable) by Program Manager or designee. G. State Holidays include: New Year’s Day Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Presidents Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Veteran’s Day Election Day Thanksgiving Day (Thursday and Friday) Christmas Eve Christmas Day New Year’s Eve New Year’s Day
