Newaygo County Parks wants to add an automatic backup generator to the Newaygo County Welcome Center. The county would like a Generac Generator with an automatic transfer switch installed. Newaygo County Parks requests detailed proposals that meet or exceed the following. The Contractor is welcome to modify the scope items below, as this is just a guide for what we want to see installed. Please create a proposal with the following at minimum. • Current Service information o Electric Company- Great Lakes Energy o Propane Company- Crystal Flash • Contractor to install an 18kw Generac Generator o Contractor to purchase and install a generator on the Southeast side of the building ▪ Contractor may install on the existing concrete pad o The generator shall be connected to the existing propane tank ▪ The contractor will coordinate the work and inspections needed to connect to the TANK ▪ Contractor to install necessary gas line indoors and outdoors o Contractor to install a 150amp automatic transfer switch o The generator should be capable and wired to run the full existing panel and all components of the welcome center, including heating and cooling. o Contractor must have a Master Electrician on staff to assist with the project when needed. ▪ The Contractor must show proof of certification...
