1. The County reserves the right to modify the scope of services during the Contract. Such modification may include adding or deleting any tasks this project will encompass and any other modifications deemed necessary. Any changes in pricing or payment terms proposed by the consultant resulting from the requested changes are subject to acceptance by the County. Changes may be increases or decreases. 2. Payment terms are subject to County fiscal policy and respective contracts. 3. The successful company shall not assign the award of the Contract or any payment without the prior written approval of Newaygo County • Existing specs o The total area that needs to be restored is an estimated 491 Sq. Ft. ▪ Men’s Restroom is an estimated 122 Sq. Ft. ▪ Men’s Shower Room is an estimated 90 Sq. Ft. ▪ Women's Restroom is an estimated 122 Sq. Ft. ▪ Women’s Shower Room is an estimated 90 Sq. Ft. ▪ Mop Room is an estimated 67 Sq. Ft. o The current floor is poured concrete with a coating that is flaking off(see the below pictures) • Contractor to prep the existing floors o Contractor will repair and prep the existing floor as needed before installing new floor surfacing material o The contractor will take photos of the prepped surface before installing the new surface • Contractor to install a new floor surface o Surface material must be of commercial grade o Surface material must be easily cleaned with a broom and mop o Surface material must not require significant maintenance to maintain ▪ If there is a required maintenance schedule for the new floor surface material, this should be detailed in the contractor RFP submission along with the current cost of maintenance materials. o Surface material must be slip-resistant or installed in a way that is considered slip-resistant o Contractor to provide county all warranty information and submit necessary warranty information to product manufacturer and county, if a warranty exists o Floor must be installed to promote proper floor draining into existing floor and shower drains. • Contractor will provide materials and labor to complete all work. • Contractor to coordinate with other contractors that may be working on the building during this job • Contractor is responsible for all applicable permits and inspections required for this job. • Contractor to secure any required engineering drawings if required by code or for permitting • Contractor is responsible for ensuring the new floor system design and components meet or exceed current applicable Building Codes or requirements for this project. • Contractor responsible for scheduling and coordinating all project-specific permits, inspections, and engineering.
