1. Crack seal existing asphalt pavement cracks • The Newaygo County Administration, District Health Department, Human Services Department, Courthouse, and Newaygo County Commission on Aging are open Monday through Friday. The Sheriff's Department and Jail are open 24/7. All work must be coordinated with the Newaygo County representative and completed by staging it so there is adequate parking available throughout the work day (hours of operation). • Furnish all necessary traffic control devices to close off the work/ staging area. • Air pressure clean all existing pavement cracks ¼” and larger. • Hot rubber material from manufacturers such as Crafco, Deery, and SealMaster will be designed for high-traffic areas. 2. All work must be coordinated with the Newaygo County representative and completed by staging it so there is adequate parking available throughout the work day (hours of operation). • Furnish all necessary traffic control devices to close off the work/ staging area. • Air pressure clean all existing pavement before installing pavement markings. • Follow the existing pavement marking locations and lay out with multiple corrections (crosswalk), including all car spaces, crosshatching, directional arrows, barrier-free spaces, and symbols. • Apply pavement markings using an M.D.O.T.-approved waterborne pavement marking high-traffic paint from manufacturers such as Sherwin-Williams, Ennis-Flint, and Ozark Materials. • Re-striping to be installed after all the hot rubber crack sealing is completed.
