Installation of a 400 Amp service and two dual charging stations with operating software. All work is to be coordinated with the school district and shall not begin until the successful vendor has received an authorized purchase order from the school district. By offering a proposal, the contractor commits to the school district that the work will be completed within the time frame specified above. 1) Exceptions may be noted on the schedule and pricing document; however, the school district reserves the right to reject any proposal which does not meet the district’s needs, regardless of price. 2) Contractors must certify that they are experienced in the installation of EV charging stations for school buses and provide several references to include names and phone numbers of recent work. 3) The scope of work shall include: a. Chargers (2) 40kW DC Fast Dual Output CCS1 + CCS1 connectors for simultaneous charging. b. Software - Charger and Subscription to a Charging Management Software. c. Installation of a new 400A service including all conduit and wire from utility transformer to feed CT. (100' allowance). d. Installation of (2) 40kW dual port DCFC Station at specified locations. e. Installation of means of disconnect for DCFC Stations. f. Installation and provision of concrete charger pads for EV chargers. g. Installation and provision of (4) bollards (2) for each EV charger. h. Installation and provision of signage and striping for parking spaces at each charger location. i. Excavation/Boring associated with installing charger conduits and concrete pads for charging stations. j. Asphalt/concrete removal/replacement as needed to complete scope of work. k. Include all design, build, and engineering costs (stamped drawings, engineered site plans, engineering costs based on unknown electrical needs). l. Permit and inspection fees included. m. This project is subject to, and contractor shall pay prevailing wages and fringe benefits to all of its construction mechanics (including subcontractors) working on the project in accordance with, Michigan Public Act 10, 2023. All prices should include the appropriate wage and fringe costs to comply with Michigan Public Act 10, 2023. (See Exhibit A, B, and C regarding prevailing wage requirements) i. Requires posting of the prevailing wages and benefits at the project site. ii. Construction mechanics are intended beneficiaries of the contractual prevailing wage, fringe benefit, and nondiscrimination nonretaliation requirements may bring an action in a court against the contractor or subcontractor for damages and injunctive relief and may be awarded reinstatement, damages, actual costs and attorney fees. iii. Contractors are required to provide the district with the certified payroll records and other records required by the act and maintain those records for a period of 3 years and all the district to inspect all records and other actions reasonably required to enforce the act. iv. Contracting agent may, by written notice to the contractor and the sureties of the contractor known to contacting agent, terminate the contractor's right to proceed with work if prevailing wage and/or fringe benefits have not been paid, and may proceed to complete the contract by separate agreement, and the original contractor and the original contractor's sureties shall be liable to the contracting agent for any excess costs occasioned thereby
