● Conduct site assessments at designated parking lots. ● Saw cut entries at the street. ● Roto mill & remove existing asphalt lots. ● Excavate building demo area to a depth of 10” below grade. ● Prepare sub-base and compact to meet load-bearing specifications. Furnish and install an average thickness of 6” 22A stabilized gravel in excavated area. ● Fine grade & compact new and existing gravel subbase for proper waterfall. ● Furnish and place a 2.5"/4" bus garage average compacted thickness of 13A modified bituminous asphalt base material to meet heavy duty requirements. ● Apply bond coat for proper adhesion. ● Furnish and place a 1.5"/2 bus garage average compacted thickness of 36A top modified bituminous asphalt material. ● Stripe parking lots according to the current codes, including ADA-compliant spaces. All current striping layouts should be duplicated with the exception of Northwood Elementary’s back lot which will change direction of striping from current horizontal direction to accommodate better parking access and increase capacity of spots consult with the Facilities Manager, Derek Menchinger, for more specifics to Northwood change. ● Ensure all drainage and grading meets local code requirements. ● Remove and dispose of all debris off-site. ● Provide a minimum 1-year warranty on workmanship and materials.
