1. Determine Level of Environmental Review for each project or activity. 2. Prepare Environmental Review Records (ERRs) including all forms, correspondence, and documentation required under 24 CFR Part 58. 3. Advise the City of the Need to Conduct and Document Public Notices (FONSI, NOI/RROF, etc.) as required. 4. Coordinate with Agencies including Michigan State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), EGLE, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Tribal Nations, FEMA, and other applicable agencies. 5. Prepare Maps, Studies, and Reports such as floodplain/wetland determinations, endangered species assessments, noise studies, contamination screening, etc. 6. Provide Draft and Final ERRs to the City for review and certification by the City’s Certifying Officer. 7. Maintain Records and provide organized hard copy and digital files to the City. 8. Advise City Staff on environmental compliance matters and provide training/technical assistance as needed.
