Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1 ELITE General Scope & Safety Requirements unless noted otherwise below. 2.2 All layout necessary to accomplish work of this Bid Package. 2.3 Furnish and install complete roofing systems, including but limited to, rigid and tapered insulation, rigid fiberglass, vapor barriers, felt, ice & water shield, coping, cant strips, membrane boots for scupper boxes, pitch pockets, receivers, snow guards, vents, metal flashings, counterflashing, all related blocking, etc. 2.4 This contractor is responsible to ensure that roof tapering insulation, if required, is installed in such a means that no standing water is left on the roof after any rainfall. 2.5 Reroof all roof curbs, equipment pads, skylights, electrical penetrations, mechanical penetrations, roof drains, scuppers, etc. furnished by other Bid Packages and this Bid Package and flash/seal complete to make watertight. 2.6 Joint sealers and backer rods as shown or required at all areas integral or adjacent to work of this Bid Package for a weather tight system. 2.7 Furnish and install all treated and or fire rated wood blocking integral with roofing systems, coping caps, curbs, etc. that is required to attach or install items within this Bid Package not shown in the documents unless otherwise noted. 2.8 Supply all hoisting, scaffolding, cranes, lifts, etc. to properly install all work described within this Bid Package. 2.9 Take all allowable measures necessary to protect the work of this Bid Package from the elements, other trades, adjacent work, etc... Working from new roof systems for required construction above work must have roofing protection in place. 2.10 Furnish and install exterior expansion control joint systems as required. 2.11 Cold weather protection and measures required to complete scope of work.
