The Nahma Township Water Tender Truck must include the following specifications: ** • Supply and install a poly body with an integrated 2,000-gallon water tank on a fire apparatus chassis. A fill tower / overflow will be installed on the top of the tank on the left side, centered front to rear. The overflow pipe will be 6.0” diameter and will discharge at the center rear of the tank by the rear axles when the tank is installed. • The tank will have enhanced side walls to 0.75” thickness for additional durability. The visible side walls will be a polished smooth finish for future painting. • Tank will include a hose bed on top of the tank o No hose bed dividers are planned at this time. • The top front and rear corners of the water tank will be reinforced and will include wiring chases for the future installation of warning and scene lights. • (1) 2.5” NPT tank to pump connection port installed in the left side front compartment. • (1) 1.50” NPT tank fill connection port installed in the left side front compartment o For install of the portable pump as outlined below. • (1) 2.5” NPT direct tank fill connection ports installed on rear, left side. • (1) 4.0” NPT direct tank fill connection ports installed on rear, right side...
