Specifications include, but are not limited to: Restrooms Primary Cleaning of Restrooms. Primary cleaning, specified in the following, shall be completed between the hours of 6:00 A.M. and 8:00 A.M (Snow and ice removal shall be the first priority after replenishing supplies). Close off restroom and place closed sign in front of door while cleaning, if necessary. Restroom shall be closed a maximum of 20 minutes in Rest Areas which only have one men’s and one women’s bathroom. All restrooms shall remain open except during cleaning. Perform cleaning survey of all areas - note problems with lights, faucet leaks, flush valves, floor tiles, drains, etc. Fill out condition report. Replenish supplies (toilet tissue, hand soap, etc.). Do not dilute hand soap with water. Clean and disinfect door, door pulls, window, kick plates, etc; Snow removal shall be completed by 7:00 a.m. after each accumulation of 2” or more of snow on any given day including weekends and holidays. In cases of heavy snowfall, multiple service occurrences may be required during the day. Typical service is plowing 2” to 6” of snow accumulation. The Program Manager may request additional service trips to remove snow which has accumulated; lawn maintenance cycle shall not be done on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays unless approved in advance by the Program Manager or designee. All elements of the lawn maintenance cycle shall be COMPLETED THE SAME DAY they are started. No partial mowing/trimming/edging will be allowed unless the weather forces delays. If rain or wet turf conditions exist, the Contractor shall finish the cycle as soon as favorable conditions exist. The Contractor shall use discretion when working near the public. The lawn maintenance cycle shall begin on vacated grounds first and then continue so as not to inconvenience the visitors. The safety of visitors shall not be jeopardized while performing the lawn maintenance cycle.
