The outside demolition consists of removal of the 1950’s – 1960’s vintage two-story entrance along the east facade of the facility. Security fencing along the east façade at two locations to also be demolished. Security fencing along the north façade of the facility shall also be demolished. The inside demolition consists of removal of the free-standing chapel and substation building, rotunda wings (Library, A-E Ward, D-H Ward and Detention), and multiple minor officer stations. Security fencing throughout the interior to also be demolished. Miscellaneous site features (basketball poles, seating, phones, etc.) to also be demolished. Possible demolition of the Recreation and Dining Room / Commissary / Inside Maintenance Building shall be set up as an alternate.
