Complete removal of all buildings, structures, foundations to 2 feet below grade, and utilities associated with the above-listed elements. The site shall be restored to grade with backfilling, grading, topsoil, and seeding. The demolition of the Recreation and Dining Room / Commissary / Inside Maintenance Building is included as a bid Alternate 1; the demolition of Block J, Block I, Ward B-F, Ward C-G, the Rotunda, and the remaining perimeter walls, hard surfaces, and Posts as noted on the drawings as Alternate 2; and the demolition of the Powerplant as Alternate 3. New temporary walls to close off the rotunda from the exterior are to be designed and implemented as part of this project. Existing sitework elements (e.g., roadways, sidewalks, gates) and underground utilities (e.g., electric, gas, steam, water, sanitary) are to remain in place and are part of Alternate 2.
