Contractor will maintain, support, host, and enhance the MICIP solution in Contractor’s instance of Amazon Web Services environment. Amazon Web Services will be a Permitted Subcontractor. Contractor will also perform the enhancements detailed in Schedule A, Attachment 1 – Business Specifications Worksheet. Initial go-live, all maintenance updates, and any subsequent enhancements will be considered software releases, requiring a Source Code deposit. MICIP PLATFORM PRODUCT SCOPE Contractor must provide maintenance, support, hosting, and enhancement of the MICIP Platform – a web‐based software application intended to allow Michigan school districts and intermediate school districts (ISDs) to engage in continuous improvement with appropriate tools and resources. The MICIP Platform (web application) is a subset of MICIP which includes MICIP Mindset (a shift in thinking where continuous improvement is consistent with the whole child and systems thinking at the forefront) and MICIP Process (the Michigan continuous improvement cycle which is comprehensive and iterative). As a result, communication with the districts and promotional support for the MICIP Platform is also part of this contract. The MICIP Platform in functional terms, offers districts the ability to develop a portfolio of plans, each plan focused on specific goals developed because of root cause analysis and the selection of strategies, followed by the publishing, monitoring & evaluation of the same (portfolio, plans). Access to the MICIP Platform by district, ISD and limited MDE staff is required with MDE visibility centered around the monitoring of published plans and aggregate data. For the purposes of this contract, the "Software" is comprised of the source code, machine code, and work needed to document and meet SOM standards and other requirements. The "Operating Environment" is comprised of the necessary hosting environment to support the MICIP Platform. Monitoring in the MICIP Platform will be used for the recording and housing of evidence through the creation of a note and uploading of a data object.
