The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the continuance and enhancement of the MiCorps volunteer monitoring programs. Specific tasks included in this RFP are: Administration of MiCorps contract and any subcontract activities necessary for successful programming. Administer MiCorps Cooperative Lakes Monitoring Program (CLMP). Administer the MiCorps Volunteer Stream Monitoring Program (VSMP) and grants. Administer the MiCorps Volunteer Stream Cleanup Program and grants. Maintain, update, and enhance the MiCorps website (http://www.micorps.net) Provide MiCorps promotion and communication activities and materials, including social media. Restructure, maintain, update, and enhance the Web-Based MiCorps Database Exchange (MDE), and incorporate it into the MiCorps website. Organize and conduct the annual MiCorps conference. Provide professional development opportunities for MiCorps program staff, including the EGLE MiCorps Program Lead. Close out the contract and transfer program operations to EGLE or designated successor at contract end as needed.
