SUMMARY OF WORK: A. The work of project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. The complete replacement of the electrical distribution panels that currently serves 175 campsites and three (3) buildings within the park. The work is indicated in the contract documents and generally described below: a. Demolition of the electrical distribution panels, electrical support racks, shelter over the panels, exposed conduits and wiring as described in the drawings. b. Prior to any demolition, coordinate with Owner for equipment requested to be salvaged and turned over to the park. c. Relocation of the existing electrical utility service equipment for the modern campground. Work coordinated by the Contractor. d. Provide distribution panels and equipment racks for new power distribution system. Relocate existing meter and CT cabinets or install new service metering equipment as required per the utility. Coordinate service de-energizing and re-energizing of the electrical service with Consumers Energy. e. Contractor responsible for all site restoration and specified in the contract documents. 2. Add Alternate No. 1 - Replacement and upgrades to existing building electrical panels and other minor electrical upgrades as described on the drawings for the following buildings: a. Park Headquarters & Maintenance Building b. Park Contact Station c. Campground Toilet Shower Building d. Beach Area Concessions Building e. Beach Area Restroom / Changing Building B. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract.
