Venue location must be within 15 miles of the state capital in Lansing, Michigan. Venue must all be at one location. Venue must have inside seating for at least 750 attendees, provide heating or air conditioning as needed to maintain a comfortable temperature, and be available for September 2 and September 3, 2025. Venue must be able to serve breakfast and lunch in the premises on both days. The meal expense must be within the state’s per diem rate. DTMB SOM Travel Rates. Venue must have a stage or similar area with sufficient speakers, screens, and other audio-visual equipment for attendees to see and hear speeches, presentations, etc. Venue must have sufficient parking for 750 attendees within a 1/4-mile radius in addition to the usual parking needs for the area or provide a free alternative such as a shuttle if parking is more than 1/4 mile away. Provide Internet access at no additional cost. Provide a minimum of 5 breakout rooms, each with audio-visual capabilities.
