1. Establish preconstruction, kick-off, bi-weekly Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings. Contractors’ representatives should be able to advise the Owner and designer on cost, constructability, phasing, and other construction-related items. 2. Provide project report documentation and meeting attendance with minutes for all related preconstruction meetings within three days of the meeting. 3. Visit the site to identify existing conditions and/or construction constraints that could impact costs or schedule. Notify the Owner and Designer of any discrepancies or areas of concern. 4. Engage in the design process and provide suggestions for improved constructability, material applications, and system configurations. Make recommendations for early trade involvement and provide leadership in engaging any trades in a preconstruction or design assist role. 5. Work with the Owner/Designer to evaluate phasing/logistics, including but not limited to temporary walls, traffic flow, etc.
