Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor is responsible for snow removal from all parking lots, parking lot entrances, ring roads and certain sidewalks/building entrances (see attached Site Maps) by 6:00 a.m. on school days whenever 1.5 inches of snow has accumulated at the sites. This may vary from site to site – sites should always be evaluated on an individual basis. During heavy snowfalls throughout the school day a best effort should be given for one return trip if accumulation reaches 1.5 inches. Weekend snow removal and salting, unless otherwise directed, should be at a reduced frequency and can allow for a greater accumulation of snow as long as all areas are cleared and salted by the next scheduled school day. Ice shall not be allowed to build up, particularly on sidewalks and building entrances, and these areas shall be cleared and salted to remove ice (scraped clean if necessary, if temperatures are too low for salt to work effectively). Any adjustment to Saturday, Sunday and holiday schedules will be at the direction of the Owner
