The Kent County Courthouse is a 12-story facility with approximately 350 employees. The area to be cleaned is approximately 238,704 square feet and is divided into two towers, North and South with a public elevator lobby joining both towers. The County desires pricing for the option to clean floors one through five with a square footage approximately 119,350 The Courthouse is one of the most heavily used County buildings by the general public. The County will require certain areas to be cleaned during the days the Courthouse is operational, requiring day staff. These areas include public restrooms and lobbies, concession area, jury assembly room, employee break rooms, restrooms, interior and exterior glass as described in these specifications. This work can be performed with a day staff person under this contract.
