Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians, a federally Recognized Indian Tribe, invites your business to submit a Bid for Snow Removal Services for the 2023-2024 snow season for the Elders Program for the Petoskey Area. will be effective immediately upon notification and contract will be reduced by prorated amount. B. Plow the main driveway leading to the main dwelling. The Contractor shall plow snow accumulations of four (4) inches or more. Plowing shall be done once per day, unless a significant amount of snowfall occurs. If such action occurs, the Contractor will only plow after the significant snowfall stops. C. Clear snow from the main walkway, porch, ramp, handrails, and stairs (including handrails) of main entrance of dwelling as needed. D. Clear snow from around mail box and remove any banking from in front of mail box area. E. Salt and/or sand, as needed, the main driveway and the main sidewalk leading to the main dwelling, even when no accumulation has occurred. F. Properly place the snow or remove it to minimize loss of parking space. G. May be required to haul snow away from residence for safety and visibility. H. May need to remove snow from the main dwelling roof of one or more home, once per year, only upon request of the Elders Coordinator. I. Be available for plowing all addresses from December 1, 2023 through March 31, 2024. J. Observe all applicable prescribed safety regulations and practices (see Appendix “A”). K. Contractor shall be responsible to make turf, parking lot, and sidewalk and curb repairs in areas where Contractor’s equipment damages said areas. L. Bid should be on a flat rate per season per address per the season, so that addresses can be added or removed on a prorated basis due to need. LTBB pays on a Monthly basis so the total will be divided into four (4) monthly payments closing at the end of each month. A log with each address showing the date for each time services were provided at each address must be submitted with each invoice. If no snow then the log must show no services provided. Payments are not based on snowfall or number of times services are provided, however, lack of service or complaints may affect payments.
