Contractor shall provide medical care and mental health services at the Allegan County Correctional Care Center (ACCC), 640 River Street, Allegan, MI as detailed herein. The following sections describe service delivery requirements in each of these service categories. In delivering these services, Contractor agrees to: 1.2 Service Delivery Goals; 1.2.1 Be familiar with and deliver services in a manner consistent with, all applicable rules contained in the current version of Michigan Department of Corrections: Administrative Rules for Jails and Lockups (MDOC-ARJL). 1.2.2 Operate with a high degree of communication, accountability, transparency, and feedback towards the County so that issues are addressed in a timely and collaborative manner so both internal and external performance reviews, as well as operational audits of Contractor’s services, result in minimal findings. 1.2.3 Operate the medical and mental health programs in an efficient and costeffective manner through continuous quality improvement, not by withholding appropriate care, with full reporting and accountability to the Sheriff or their designee. 1.2.4 Promptly notify the Operations Lieutenant if any timeframes for activity completion stated in this Scope of Work (such as, but not limited to, Intake Screening review, Health Appraisals completion, and Treatment Plan development) will be missed or were missed and provide an explanation. 1.2.5 Commit professionally licensed, certified, and trained individuals to provide services per the agreed upon staffing plan. 1.2.6 Maintain a collaborative and cost-efficient working relationship with other contractors providing services to ACCC. 1.2.7 Record and maintain complete and accurate records of inmate care, analyzing and reporting care statistics to Jail Administration on a monthly basis. 1.2.8 Operate the medical and mental health care program in a humane manner with respect to the inmate's right to basic health care services. 1.3 Policies, Procedures and Standards; 1.3.1 Contractor shall maintain written copies of all healthcare policies and procedures in use at the ACCC and make those available to Jail Administration for review upon request. 1.3.2 All Contractor policies written or otherwise governing Contractor personnel delivering services at ACCC that assign any responsibility to ACCC Personnel shall be discussed with Jail Administration before implementation and reviewed on an annual basis.
