Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1)Acquire all necessary permits. 2)Thoroughly strip and clean the roof of all existing roofing materials and prepare the roof for the metal roof installation. 3)Dispose of all existing roofing materials. 4)Repair roofing boards as necessary and determined by the Contractor and Park Manager. 5)Supply all roofing materials, including but not limited to, metal roofing, ridge caps, underlayment, nails/screws, lumber, drip edge, ice and water barrier, snow bars, eave troughs and screws, and flashing. 6)Install synthetic underlayment on entire roof deck. The underlayment acts as a strong water barrier if sweating occurs. The slip sheet also allows the metal roof to expand and contract without rubbing on the underlayment course.
