Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Lansing Board of Water & Light Human Resources Department (BWL HR) seeks requests for proposals (RFP) of a suitable Human Resources Information System (HRIS) that meets the needs of the BWL. Currently, BWL uses the Human Capital Management (HCM) module within the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution, SAP. With mainstream support for SAP ending at the end of 2030, BWL plans to replace SAP or upgrade to a supported version. In the meantime, BWL seeks to transition all HR functions currently handled by SAP, including timesheets, employee records, org structure and pay rules to a standalone HRIS. Additionally, BWL seeks an HRIS to perform business services and support functions currently handled outside of SAP, for example benefits administration, compensation management, leave management, and others as outlined in this document. The BWL’s intent is to utilize an HRIS with configurable functionality and limit the need for customization.
