All necessary surveying and staking for this contractor’s work. The Construction Manager will supply building control points and establish a benchmark. 3. Applicable fees, permits, inspections, etc. as required for the completion of the work in this bid category. 4. Sleeves indicated on the drawings. 5. Slab sand pavement subbase construction per details. Gravel subbase to be graded and compacted to +/-0.05 foot. Final grading and proof rolling are the responsibility of concrete contractor. This contractor is responsible for compaction and/or correction of any areas that do not pass tests. 6. Include paving subgrade minimums per soils report or civil design drawings per most stringent requirement. 7. Responsible for keeping public roads and parking lots clean of construction traffic dirt and debris. 8. Excavation, bedding materials, piping, structures, backfill, compaction, etc. as required for all underground utility construction, all to within 5 feet of the building unless noted otherwise. 9. Temporary tree protection measures at high school location. 10. Strip, stockpile and respread topsoil to machine grade +/-0.10 foot. 11. Site related demolition, including but not limited to, pavements, site walls, utility structures, etc. This to include saw cutting and removals for curbs, asphalt, foundations, signage, trees, landscaping, fencing and removal as shown on both civil and landscape sheets at high school location. 12. Include copper water service from building slab as shown and connections, valves, piping to new well for complete water service. Coordinate final connections with plumbing contractor. Inside of building by plumbing contractor. 13. Include sanitary force main system and connections to existing system for complete and operational sanitary. 14. Include lift station and all associated components. Includes vaults, piping, valves, control panel, floats, etc. Include piping invert into pump station, piping from pump station to vault and valves. Power connection to control panel by others. Electrical to wire and install control panel, disconnect. Plumbing to connect sanitary and storm piping at 5’ outside of building. 15. Soil erosion permit and erosion control. 16. Maintain and control grades to facilitate the run-off of site surface water. 17. Supply and maintain barricading as required for the work of this contractor. 18. Excavation, over excavation and controlled fill for building foundations installed by the concrete contractor, including proper disposal, at an off-site location, of unsuitable soils. 19. Provide and maintain access ramps within the building to be used by the structural steel contractor during erection of structural steel and the concrete contractor during the placement of building foundations. Include full earthwork, landscaping, fencing, work as noted at early elementary and later elementary. 3. Include excavating depth of 12” of existing wood chips/playing service and removal. 4. Install new depth of 12” wood fiber surfacing. 5. Provide protection for equipment on sidewalks and concrete surfaces. 6. Harly rake or level damaged lawn areas from playground subcontractor and own damage being caused by excavation and infill for new playing surfaces. 7. Remove partial fence on one mobilization for work to be completed by playground contractor and this contractor for excavation. Existing fencing noted to act as construction fencing until time for install of new fence. 8. Demolition and install new fencing as shown in project documents. 9. Finish grade all topsoil, seeded and landscaped areas, including removal of stones, dirt clumps, sticks and weeds...BID CATEGORY NO. 03 – PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT Include: 1. Complete playground equipment and related work as shown on the drawings and as specified in the following sections: 02 4119 SELECTIVE DEMOLITION 11 6800 PLAY FIELD STRUCTURES AND EQUIPMENT (PENDING) 2. Protect sidewalks where equipment is needed to get demolished structures out and for new playground structures to be installed. 3. Include demolition of existing playground structures and noted in project documents. 4. Remove and replace broken items on playground. 5. Supply and install of new Playground equipment 6. Playground painting where required for complete installation. 7. Concrete related to or required for equipment. 8. Subcontractor must coordinate its work with the work of other subcontractors at the site to eliminate conflicts. No additional costs as a result of a lack of coordination will be accepted. 9. All trades are responsible for reviewing all pages within the project documents to confirm coordination and all details associated with their scope of work. 10. All trades are specifically reminded to review project schedules for product ordering and labor for project as part of base bid. 11. All trades are specifically reminded to break out their bid by location for a total base bid amount on bid form. 12. Please note that scope of work covers all school locations. Adequate manpower to meet the schedules is assumed.
