Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), Division of Immunization will be contracting with Michigan State Medical Society for services to communicate with physicians who are members of MSMS. The MSMS has internal communication vehicles that can be utilized to publicize MDHHS news articles and changes to the immunization schedule as needed. MSMS also has a liaison who participates in quarterly meetings with MDHHS, Physician Peer Education Program, and Alliance for Immunizations in Michigan (AIM). The liaison reports new information to the MSMS Task Force on Immunizations, and if appropriate publicizes the information to its 14,000+ members through publications and the MSMS website.
