HDI Support Center Certification. The certification process includes an on-site HDI audit, gap analysis, and continuous improvement recommendations and implementation strategies. In completion of the HDI certification, it grants the Client Service Center the right to use the licensed HDI Support Center Certified logo on the CSC's marketing, presentation, and training materials, signage, and business cards. The HDI Support Center Certification program is based on the HDI Support Center Standard, which defines best and good practices for the support industry. The Standard was developed by an international certification standards committee comprised of more than 25 practitioners and industry experts from around the world. It is an aggregate of best and good practices from various global IT service management frameworks - with a specific focus on the support center - and leverages frameworks such as the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL(R)) and best practices such as Knowledge-Centered Support (KCSSM).
