Review Attachment 1 – Opening Location Maps for opening location and requirements. Bidders are encouraged to walk the openings prior to submitting a proposal to determine potential difficulties accessing the openings AND to walk the openings to become aware of rocks, stumps, debris, etc., that could cause hazard to equipment and adjust their operations accordingly. Any statements by the DNR regarding opening conditions or possible obstructions / hazards are precautionary only. The DNR is not responsible for damage to Contractor equipment. The Contractor agrees to provide all seed, fertilizer, labor, and equipment, as well as other supplies and services necessary to perform the work as specified. Total acreage for the grassland openings is approximately 36 acres. The Contractor agrees to access opening by existing roads. Any improvements to existing roads must have prior approval of the DNR.
