Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide and install a 50’ square steel shelter with hip roof. Shelter shall have multi-ribbed metal roof, meet snow and wind loads for Sand Lake/Nelson Township in Kent County, Michigan. Vendor to provide full engineered drawings for building permit. Vendor will submit and cover all costs for building permit on Kent County Parks behalf. Shelter shall be supplied with all necessary hardware, anchor kits, etc to be installed. Vendor shall stake footing locations for approval by Kent County Parks prior to installation. No additional electrical holes/cutouts required beyond what is provided with the standard shelter package. Shelter shall be an Icon SQ50M-P6 or equal. Vendor may submit “or equals” at time of bid, they will not be reviewed prior to bid close. Shelter will be placed over an existing picnic concrete pad, see site plan. Shelter drawings are provided as reference only. Vendor is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure site during construction.
