Specifications include, but are not limited to: Architectural and engineering services for design and construction administration for the replacement of five (5) existing passenger elevators and one (1) freight elevator in the George W. Romney Building in Lansing, Michigan. The project will consist of removal and replacement of existing elevator machinery, controls, and access controls; and renovation of existing elevator cabs. Associated building entrance security turnstiles and surveillance equipment are also part of this project. The new elevators shall be controlled by a smart elevator control system and be tied into the existing building fire alarm and notification system, and automatic sprinkler system. The design professional shall include the services of an elevator consultant.
