The Primary Objective is to install a robust and secure elections security system at 2978 West grand Blvd and 2000 West Lafayette as per the detailed system design provided. The system design includes installation and configuration of cameras, intercoms, servers, cabinets, uninterruptable power supplies, operator workstations, furniture, and the electrification of new and existing doors. The vendor, installed system, and installation practices must adhere to the attached City of Detroit Standards for Structured cabling and security systems document. Before starting the project, the vendor shall perform an onsite assessment to identify any potential issues or risks including structural, stonework, millwork, pathways, roof, building penetrations, electrical service, heating and cooling, environmental or any other issues that may need to be addressed. The City of Detroit should be informed of these issues and any requirements before project kickoff and ordering processes. The installed system must seamlessly integrate with the existing City of Detroit network, VoIP system, and Genetec system. A dedicated vendor project manager shall facilitate services including collection of information, kick off meetings, development of a communication plan, and regular meetings with all stakeholders. Project milestones shall include initiation and setup, installation, user acceptance testing, training, final review, and handover. End user training shall be conducted for 10 Department of Elections users and cover system operation, security desk monitoring, alarm management, camera controls, mobile app usage, badge enrollment and support processes. The vendor shall provide post installation system support, including operator and technician assistance, troubleshooting, repair, and RMA support. The vendor shall provide a 5-year overall system warranty. Warranty to begin on the agreed upon commissioning date of the system. The vendor shall provide documentation including hardware cut sheets, user manuals, warranty information, hardware inventory, drawings showing cable pathways, device locations and system test reports as per the attached standards document. All required software and hardware licensing shall be included in the proposal, as well as all costs associated with the City of Detroit BSEED licensing and permitting process.
