Tree and Stump Removal on Various Roads in Friendship Township. All trees scheduled for removal have been marked with an Orange paint approximately 4 feet above the ground. The Emmet County Road Commission will provide traffic control for the tree removal. The Contractor will schedule tree removal with the ECRC with a minimum of 48 hour notice. ECRC crews will be available M-F, 7AM – 4PM until April 25, 2025. Starting April 28, 2025 the ECRC crews will be available M-Th, 6AM-5PM. The ECRC will maintain traffic using traffic regulators in accordance with MDOT Maintaining Traffic Typical 110-TR-NFW-2L. Traffic shall be maintained during the project using lane closures, two-way traffic shall be open during non-working hours. Remove and dispose of the tree, including all wood, brush and debris. The Contractor will be responsible for ensuring the roadway (including the driving lanes and shoulder) is free of all debris from the tree removal. All Stumps will be ground 12 inches below the surrounding ground surface. Grindings from the stump removal shall be smoothed to blend to the surrounding ground.
