A. Provide the following fully qualified staff, as needed, to support operations of the LTBB Planning Department in all ofthe following areas: • Plans Examiner (certified in Building, Fire, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fuel Gas, & Electrical Michigan Codes, 2015 edition, the National Electrical Code and Accessibility Code ICC/ANSI All 7.1 2014 edition) B. Provide the requested service within 24-hour notice. C. Currently All plan/code reviews must be in compliance with LTBB Construction codes (currently State of Michigan Codes adopted by reference with amendments), the 2015 Michigan Code Set and the 2014 National Electric Code. However, LTBB may adopt new codes during this cycle that will require adaptation of compliance. D. Plan review may require qualifications and experience in structural integrity and general physical condition inspections I facilities evaluations of residential and/or commercial buildings or properties which may include, but are not necessarily limited to some or all of the following property elements: • Exterior Systems -roofs, walls, window systems, exterior doors, structural (condition, not seismic) • Interior Systems - walls, doors, flooring, ceiling, hardware (in the case of multiple unit buildings, a sampling of units that shall include several units of each type of unit configuration as well as common areas) • Fire/Life Safety issues (including hazards, alarms, fire escapes) • Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (condition, not performance evaluation) • Electrical and Electrical Distribution (condition, not load analysis) • Plumbing -Fixtures, domestic supply, storm and sanitary drainage • FireProtection • Special Construction -(kitchens, medical space, shops) E. Provide reports to the LTBB Planning Department.
