Successful Substance Use Disorder Family Support Program – Motivational Interviewing service providers will: a. Address the broad needs of substance use affected families. b. Incorporate family voice into service plans and adjust services to meet the unique needs & goals of individual families. c. Quickly & effectively motivate families to engage & sustain in services for the recommended program length or goals are achieved. d. Effectively motivate families to maintain engagement with recommended substance use services post program closure. e. Closely collaborate with referral sources to connect families to services, design appropriate service plans, and support successful outcomes. f. Closely collaborate with the MDHHS Prevention and Family Preservation Program Office to ensure delivery of high-quality services, measure outcomes, and track progress over time. g. Coordinate with local community partners to support families in meeting the full spectrum of their needs during services and following SUDFSP-MI case closure. h. Use data to drive continuous improvement of service quality and outcomes for families.
