Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Planting Beds a) Spring cleanup of flowering plants, trim or groom flowering plants and grasses to remove dead material. b) Winterize plants based on variety. c) Replace/add mulch to maintain appearance. Edge around existing beds (if no edging is present) d) Remove weeds and emergent trees seedlings from beds (weekly). e) Repair or adjust edging around beds. f) Add stone to stone beds as needed. g) Apply fertilization and pre-emergent herbicides. 2) Lawns a) Apply fertilizers and weed control herbicide. b) Minor repair to lawns as need after winter damage (top soil and seed). c) Re-cut edge around trees and mulch beds to minimize grass egress into mulch beds. 3) Trees and Shrubs a) Trim shrubs annually. b) Clean up winter damage. c) Winterize any trees or shrubs based on variety of plant. d) Trim trees as needed. May not be annually, based on variety of tree. 4) Plant or mulch replacement will be quoted and approved separately on a case by case basis. 5) Sprinklers a) Start up in spring b) Shut down in fall c) Repairs quoted separately
