Snow and Ice Removal Specifications The Contractor agrees all snow and ice removal services shall be performed according to Schedule A Requirements and Specifications, and schedules mutually agreed upon by the Program Manager or designee. The Contractor agrees all snow and ice removal services shall be completed prior to 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, excluding State Holidays. (Refer to Section 1.1, F, for a list of State Holidays). Holiday service, if required, shall be requested at least 24 hours in advance by the Program Manager or designee. Snow and ice shall be removed from the parking lot and driveways entering the Plainwell Customer Service Center from 10th Street and 106th Avenue (Attachment 1 – Plainwell CSC Aerial View). Snow and ice shall be removed from all sidewalks and entrances in front of, or surrounding, both buildings and Contractor supplied, Program Manager approved, deicer shall be applied as needed. The Contract Administrator shall provide the Contractor with a list of DNR contacts authorized to approve snow and ice removal activities. The Contractor shall provide the Contract Administrator with a contact name and telephone number to be used as a 24-hour contact. Exact snow and ice removal requirements are unknown. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing services as described and / or as requested. The State is not obligated to purchase these services in any specific amounts.
