Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide a site visit to evaluate the existing concession area. Draft plans and specifications to demolish the existing exhaust hood system and to install a new commercial exhaust hood system with fire suppression system. Provide bidding services, to include a pre‐bid walk‐though, answering contractor questions during bidding, and also providing a recommendation of the lowest responsible and responsive contractor. Provide construction administration services, to include responding to contractor questions during the construction period, administering kickoff and progress meetings, and providing a punch list walk through after the project is completed. Plans to Include Demolition of existing ceiling and walls and replacement with non‐combustible materials to meet clearances. Ductwork, gas line, electrical, and enclosure on the exterior of building to make‐up air unit(s), louvers, permit, and startup. Properly engineered protection for all (building exterior) system components from ice and snow load. Make‐up air unit installation is preferred (if feasible) for interior installation within space above hood area. If exterior installation is the only option – please provide details on installation and code requirement. New 6‐foot‐high chain link fence with lockable entry gate to enclose all exterior equipment. Fully charged (live) fire suppression equipment and chemicals as prescribed by manufacturer of equipment. Any other necessary code requirements. Provide certification upon completed installation.
