The City of Wyoming operates and maintains a 120-million-gallon-per-day drinking water plant located in Holland, Michigan, near the shore of Lake Michigan. The City is seeking a consultant to provide engineering, design, bidding, and project oversight services for the addition of a third plant generator, as well as engineering support for upgrading the existing generator control system. The backup power system currently includes a generator building that houses two 2.25 MW Cummins generators and associated electrical equipment. Due to long lead times, the project will be executed in two phases: • Phase One will focus on upgrading the existing generator control system. Cummins will lead the scope development, installation, and commissioning of the control upgrades, which will include local controls for the two existing generators, a new generator master controller and HMI, and updated switchgear protection and control relays. • Phase Two will involve the installation of the third generator.
