Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1. Overview Battle Creek Public Schools and Calhoun County ISD are seeking bids to overhaul the A/V technology needs in the Battle Creek Public Schools Administrative Board Room. This board room is meant to serve as a multifunctional public meeting space that not only will support public school board meetings, but other in-person and remote meetings. BCPS is wishing to leverage streaming technologies to live-stream their board meetings with minimal effort, as well as offer the ability to use modern telecommunications software with this system. 2.2. Removal of equipment All existing equipment shall be removed, with the exception of the existing ceiling speakers, and the existing projector screen. Coordinate with the owner on disposal/recycling needs per the owner’s policy on this equipment. Existing video cabling in floor boxes shall be removed. 2.3. New Cabling In each floor box, the owner desires Category 6 cabling be run from each floor box to the specified Netgear switch which will be installed in a cabinet in the boardroom. New cabling shall be installed to all video decoders and equipment for control, per the included schematic. All cabling shall be tested and certified to specifications.
