This project includes work on Dodge Street, between Luray and James; James Street, between Dodge and Grove; and Grove Street, between James and Cross Street. Dodge Street: Remove existing HMA surface, existing curbs and driveways. Replace existing 8-inch VCP sanitary sewer with 8-inch PVC, including all manholes. Replace sanitary sewer laterals to a point 3 feet behind the curb line. Replace existing 12-inch concrete storm sewer pipe with new 12-inch conc storm sewer in a different alignment, including new manholes and catch basins. Replace existing 4-inch water main with new 8-inch ductile iron water main, including new service lines to the meter. New concrete curb and gutters, concrete driveway approaches and HMA surfacing. Some restoration will be necessary behind the curb line. All work will be done in the right of way except water service replacement. The Contractor has the option to remove existing pipe or abandon with flowable fill as approved by the Engineer. James Street: Remove existing HMA surface, existing curbs and driveways. Replace existing 8-inch VCP sanitary sewer with 8-inch PVC, including manholes. Replace sanitary sewer laterals to a point 3 feet behind the curb line. Replace existing 4-inch water main with new 8-inch ductile iron water main, including new service lines to the meter. New concrete curb and gutters, concrete driveway approaches and HMA surfacing. Replace sanitary sewer laterals to a point 3 feet behind the curb line. Replace existing 4-inch water main with new 8-inch ductile iron water main, including new service lines to the meter. New concrete curb and gutters, concrete driveway approaches and HMA surfacing. Some restoration will be necessary behind the curb line.
