Specifications include, but are not limited to: Wayne County Community College District is soliciting proposals for a state‐of‐the‐art Milestone XProtect Video Management System (VMS) with new integrated Network Video Recorders) NVR’s. The Milestone XProtect system will be replacing an existing Honeywell MAXPRO and Honeywell DVR/NVR environment. The existing security camera infrastructure includes a mixture of Honeywell analog and IP camera types including fixed, PTZ, and 360 degree field of view. It is our intention to use the approximately 200 exiting cameras with the new Milestone XProtect and new NVR platform. We are in the process of developing our camera RFP, the scope includes replacing the exiting cameras and adding new cameras across the district, ultimately reaching approximately 1,000 new cameras. We expect to begin deploying the new cameras a few months after the new Milestone XProtect VMS is implemented. It is our intention to integrate Milestone XProtect with our Honeywell Pro‐Watch door access control system at our Downriver Campus first, and then roll out the integration to all District locations.
