The Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Garden City, Michigan desires to build a plaza-style skate park. The proposed skate park must meet the safety and standards for current action skate park design principles that include flow, traffic patterns, skill levels, and ability levels as well as be of the highest quality with regards to design. The design should be predominately concrete with other materials accepted on wear features and non-skate elements. The City is seeking proposals in response to this Request for Proposals (RFP) from a qualified skateboard park design/build firm or team (Contractor) to produce a conceptual design, final design and construction documents and construction of a non-supervised public concrete skate park at 6000 Middlebelt Road, Garden City Park, Garden City, MI 48135.
