PROJECT OVERVIEW AND GOAL The DIA is requesting bids to provide Design/ Build construction services. The goal of this project is to address the shortage of two classroom spaces (one being an art classroom), including additional areas such as support facilities and conference rooms, and: To evaluate available spaces and provide the best design allowing the school to maximize space and uses. To design spaces that are in harmony with access, circulation, and appearance to the existing school. To make the most efficient use of the property and building areas available. To address all site, utility and school spaces that are impacted by the renovation or are deemed best to include in the process. To conclude with realistic conceptual plans and conceptual cost estimates to construct and build the identified school spaces. To keep School Leadership and the Board’s Classroom Renovation Committee apprised weekly of all matters until the space is occupied.
